I NEED this book!
This year I worked my butt off to recieve enough financial aid for me to afford an education in the UC system. I was relieved when I finally recieved that last 2,000 dollars which completed my $21,000 need, only to realize that I would have to do it all over again next year. This book would make my search for scholarships so much easier. Please!!! I need it!

Sending me to college is going to be extremely hard on my parents, meaning loans and everything that comes along with college tuition. I've promised them that I'll do my part in easing the money problem. With this book it will be so much easier for me to find as many scholarships as I can to apply for. Searching online for them has been somewhat challenging so with this book I'll have them all right at my fingertips and I can start writing and start saving my parents money!!

I need this book! I've been trying to get a couple scholarships during my junior year. I do have parents, but with three other kids on the line, I am on my own. I try to manage school, work and sports to try to get into the college of my choice. Trying to handle all three things can be difficult at times. My grades slipped a little this last semester of my junior year because i was trying to earn and save up money, for college and for a car to take me there. I want to maintain my 3.0 average throughout my senior year and not have to focus as much as trying to find ways of getting and making money. So yes, this book would help me out
a lot.

I really want this book because my parents are having a lot of trouble paying for college since I didn't get any financial aid from Brandeis. I'm living at home right now even though I am a first year student so I'm not getting the full college experience. I've been trying to find fitting scholarships online using sites such as fastweb.com and scholarships.com but I haven't found anything because they are giving me options that don't relate to me. I really want this book.

I am going into my last year of highschool along with my twin sister, and my little sister who skipped two grades because we were all home-schooled. The three of us our very close and want to go our own ways for college, which means three times the regualr tution you would pay for one child. Even though we are applying for numerous amounts of scholarships we still need a ton of help!!! Getting this book would help us so much and lift unbearable amounts of stress off of my parents.
I, no we really need this book.

Not only do I want this book, I need this book. I am a first generation college student picking my way through the college experience. First generation comes with numerous social pressures, but not a lot of advice on how to succeed. This book would be a resource to help guide me on my road to academic success. When I first started applying for college, my greatest hope was that I could study at a place that would challenge me academically, socially, and emotionally without worrying about how I would afford to stay there. This book will help me learn in a place I love, in a community that undoubtedly loves me.

If given the chance, I would love to have this book. I'm going to college in 2009, hopefully to U of I, which is a really, really pricey school. I want to major in Child Development and U of I is the only school in Illinois that has that major. I want to become a child care worker so I can help lead the kids of our future in a better way. Because of my health, I wasn't able to do too many extracurricular activities throughout high school. Please!! I really think this book would help me in the future!!

Im going to be a senior this year and am graduating early in December. Going to college has always been something that parents pushed me towards and now I'm almost there. My grades slipped this last year but i'm 100% positive i'll graduate with at least a 3.0-3.5. There is one problem. My mom is also trying to go back to college and my parents won't have enough to pay my tuition. I've been looking everywhere for scholarships and its been a challenge; I've been super stressed. This book would make my college journey so much easier. Please, I really need this book.

My dad has been out of work with cancer since may 2005, and just this past friday was told he was cancer free, but they put him on another 7 weeks of Chemo for "prevention." It took 2 years for him to finally get social security and what they are paying him is not enough for him to help my mom with bills, support us for a month, and now on top of that he has to help me pay for college. Now any money we can manage to save is going towards application fees, the fees for sending transcripts, sat scores, act scores and ap scores. I'm a rising senior and this year I'm taking on 4 ap classes, and trying to keep up my gpa above my current 3.3 (4.5 weighted). Scholarships are the only way I'm going to get enough money to be anywhere close to how much it's going to cost. This book could really help me, a first generation college attendee, go to the school of my choice.
